Having ambled lazily along the career path for my entire working life, I often find myself wondering what could have been as I'm kicking the life out of a temperamental photocopier that has decided to stop staple-sorting half way through a complicated print job.
Not that there's anything wrong with working in an office, or anywhere else for that matter. I'm very grateful to have a job that I enjoy and to work with nice people, but I'm not exactly setting the world on fire. The photocopier, maybe...
So I like to hear about people who always knew what they wanted to do when they grew up, or who do something totally different, or have something interesting to say when people ask them what they do for a living.
